Think Dignity hosts Community Legal Education Workshops at which local attorneys present on various legal issues that homeless individuals often face. Workshops are held at the Downtown San Diego Library, in the Mary Hollis Clark Room, and are open to all low-income individuals or those living on the streets.
Topics of our Workshops have varied. We have had presenters speak on Military Discharge Upgrades, Expungement of Criminal Records, Prop 47 Reductions, and an individual’s right to sleep on the streets.
If you are an attorney interested in presenting on a legal topic, please email our Executive Director, Anne Rios, at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Workshops are presented in conjunction with our Know Your Rights project (a homeless bill of rights surrounding seven specific areas of law.)
