Olivia Zecchini is the Chair of Think Dignity's Homeless Women's Coalition which focuses on the female homeless population and some of the needs and services specifically affecting women. She started as a volunteer with Think Dignity in early 2016 and joined the board in 2017.
Olivia currently works for the Department of Defense's Navy as a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate
Support Specialist. As a victim advocate, she works with sailors and their family members who have experienced a sexual assault provides them with services and support following the trauma. In addition, she has played a pivotal role in introducing interactive and innovative trainings to the Navy that teaches sailors all about consent, sexual assault, victim blaming, and intervention.
Prior to her work with the Navy, Olivia interned with the San Diego City Attorney's Office in the Domestic Violence Unit as a Victim Support Coordinator. It was through this internship where Olivia truly developed her passion for advocacy and activism.
This passion has carried over into some of her various volunteer ventures which include working with homeless youth at a shelter with San Diego Youth Services, helped plan fund-raisers and events for the Family Justice Center and Red My Lips.
Olivia recently graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she obtained her Masters of Arts in Forensic Psychology and attended University of California, San Diego where she earned her Bachelor's in Psychology with an emphasis on Law and Society.
