Big Sister League of San Diego

The League has two homes in Bankers Hill/Hillcrest area, offering transitional housing for 34 mentally ill, homeless and/or abused women. Referral to the housing program comes from psychiatric hospitals, crisis homes and social service agencies throughout the County. The women have three meals prepared daily by our staff. Each home is staffed 24-hours a day.

San Diego Rescue Mission

SDRM Offers residential recovery programs, emergency shelter for women and children, recuperative care and transitional housing. It offers hunger relief and holiday meals, an outpatient therapy clinic, supportive services for program alumni, and educational/awareness programs

ECS Safe Havens

ECS Downtown and Uptown Safe Havens are residential facilities that provide food, transitional housing, case management, and supportive services to chronically homeless single adults with moderate to severe mental health issues. 

ECS Friend to Friend

Friend to Friend (F2F) serves homeless adults diagnosed with a mental illness in central San Diego. F2F members work with staff to set personal goals and create individual life plans with the overall goal of regaining health and independence. Staff assist members in working toward their goals and identifying relevant referrals. Assistance is available in areas such as income, housing, education, employment, and mental and physical health.
